I have a female beagle and a Male German Shepherd/chow. Im starting to suspect she is pregnant, is it possible she could give birth to the puppies, or would they be to big and possibly injure her?

If you only suspect she is pregnant, take her to the vet for an emergency spay. How long ago was she in season?

If you left a bit*ch in season with an entire dog you can bet she will be pregnant. Since the male is much larger than she is there is the chance of her uterus rupturing if she’s carrying a number of large pups and GSD’s tend to have large litters. I’m not sure of the average size of Beagle of Chow litters.

If you allow the pregnancy to continue and she survives the gestation period, make sure you have at least $2000 set aside for the C section she will most likely need and a further $1000 for any vet treatment she and her puppies may need.

If you let her continue you won’t make any money from selling the pups. Cross bred pups usually only bring in the price of their vaccination and deworming…about $50-60 so you will be well and truly out of pocket.

These days the market is flooded with a number of brands of dog foods. Since there are so many people having dogs as pets, the demand for dog food is on the rise. But many owners have noticed that their dogs do not prefer these ready-made foods that is supposed to be nutritious and has a list of important nutrients listed. Many pet lovers have also complained of detrimental health of their canines. Thus when it was understood, that the prepared and canned or boxed dog food is not complete nutritious, though it does contain all the essentials it does not always meet the demands.

Another reason of dogs turning away is the monotonous taste. Every meal and every brand taste same. So, most owners were forced to look out for a change. These days many dog lovers and pet owners are considering the benefit of raw food as meals. With change are meal and no meal tasting the same, dogs too have increasingly shown interest and has proven to be more beneficial than the ready-made counterpart. Besides, these are simple and basic; the cost value is competitively lower than what you buy prepared.

Raw food is raw and uncooked meals. It may include uncooked and processed meat and veggies, and fruits. Thus the natural nutrients are least altered. It retains all the minerals, vitamins, and proteins, essential amino acids, etc in its original form and amount with no change in structure and properties. This is more beneficial than the cooked and processed food.

Giving your dog raw food means you have a wide range and choice in hand. You can keep changing, or trying various combinations of recipes each day. Dog food recipes, especially homemade dog food recipes are available easily to follow. Also, there are packed and frozen raw meals for dogs available on the market which is also equally good and sorted making it easier. You can choose the diet according to the breed of the dog considering which suits him/her better.

You should care about your animal as much as you do the rest of your family. Remember that it is important for you k-9 friend to get enough rest, exercise, water and good, healthy nutrition. This may be different for different breeds of dog. Obviously, everything that is fresh is going to be better for you. That is true for all members of your family.

More information is available on whatisthebestdogfood.org. They offer information on what is the best dog food, including the best dog food for small, medium, and large size dogs.

Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jessica_N_King
http://EzineArticles.com/?The-Need-to-Shift-to-Raw-Dog-Food&id=5836176

Although original workout devices of this sort were being designed to workout hunting canines and supplied a particularly impressive stimulation, contemporary versions are generally considerably more gentle. They enable the dog owner to ascertain prominence and maintain command within configuration settings that will provide the canine with many different disturbances. Using an actual combined exercise method of prizes and aversive stimuli is proven to help cause to actually fast results with the most of dogs, perhaps even some of those deemed not likely trainable through other methods.

A good remote trainer is a valuable gadget in teaching your canine equally standard compliance plus breaking them of undesirable habits including excavating as well as woofing. Walking your puppy over a leash can however cause problems, especially when managing even larger, more powerful breeds. A lot of people find aid and regain the opportunity to love their animals when they realize that the pets would certainly respond to a beep from the remote then respect the directions they may be administered. Due to this, equally pooch together with pet owner ought to be prepared by gurus in order to make use of and answer to all of these tools.

Another thing that owners realize they like about using a remote to teach their dog is that they could immediately break a canine of the preference to run after items. Any lead can’t do that, and with scaled-down people who have much bigger dogs, many people find the tether merely works to pull them along when the dog actually starts to run after objects. Hardly any other approaches are able to stop the actual impulse to go after items in movement, be it a vehicle, people using a street bike, an alternative dog, or perhaps a recently placed scent trail. This operates by allowing the owner to utilize a hand held two option transmitter. While effectively exercised your pet heeds that notice tone or beeps way before any kind of minor unfavorable stimulus could be launched.

As mentioned before, contemporary remote trainer systems happen to be significantly developed. You will appreciate that there’s a wide variety of levels of stimuli that could be personalized to every single dog. A number of them alternate between beeps with vibrations driving them to be best for use on deaf pet dogs. Since the primary goal is to make your pet to concentrate on the owner not truly penalize your pet when used accordingly a lot of projects are carried out quickly when they are being worked out. It is essential that people today seeking to self start training your dog with these systems take time to learn how to use them safely and securely in order that your canine realizes that the goal is to obtain the incentive not to ever be reprimanded. Luckily, several dog training professionals not to mention web pages give step by step tutorials for finding out how to use the remotes in a safe manner.

Almost all dog trainers want to use these types of technology to be a swift NO sort of usage once unwanted behavior has been identified. This is the greater humane technique to use them, despite the fact that some trainers could use ongoing low level stimuli up to the proper behavior they are practicing for happens. It is well recognized that the 1st system works on the majority of canines, (9.2 out of 10) and the second option means isn’t tried on account of considerations that it will be noticed as immoral. It is best then to learn to use these devices effectively and provide plenty of positive support in conjunction to them.

Have you been trying everything to find the best dry dog food for your pup? Don’t worry; I know how frustrating it can be, especially if you have a dog that is a picky eater. You’ve tried four or five different kinds of food, but they just don’t seem to want to eat anything. So what can you do? There are actually two main choices. You can either keep trying different brands until you find one that works, or you can simply make your own. We’re going to go through how to do both, just for the sake of completeness.

Your first option is to just keep trying different brands of food. However, there are few tips and tricks to make this easier. For example, if you often give your dog scraps, try to note what foods they seem to prefer the most. Then all you have to do is look around at the ingredients in the dog food you purchase to see what matches up. Make sure to keep a small notepad of what brands you have tried, because after awhile it can get difficult to remember if you’ve tried a certain brand or not, and the last thing that you want to do is waste money on food that you know your dog won’t like. Though this can take awhile, you will eventually find the best dry dog food for your dog. However, there is one small problem with this method.

The problem is that you end up with a lot of food that you can’t use.
