All The Amazing Secrets Behind White Pitbulls

There are many different names for pitbulls including white pitbulls; black pitbulls, red pitbulls and those are only to mention a few of the most popular sough after pitbulls. These are not an indication of the type of dogs they are or what mannerisms they might display as they are only to label the colours that the pitbulls are bred to be. White pitbulls are not typically sought after as red or blue pitbulls are however, white pitbulls are among the most popular colours.

There are many white pitbulls that fit under the classification of moo moo pitbulls as they are patterned somewhat like a dairy cow with a most often prominent black patch that covers the entire area of one of the pitbulls eyes. This indicates a Moo Moo pattern of the white pitbull. These are the most popular and sought after of the white pitbulls and are surprisingly common which may be due to the fact that breeders tend to breed more of these by accident when trying to breed other popular colors.

The Pitbull Stigma

There is a huge negative stigma that is now attached to those who own pitbulls as well against pitbulls themselves and it is undeserved typically. The American Temperament Society does testing on dogs every year and every year the pitbull comes back ranking in better temperament than most other breeds. Even the little white poodle has a more aggressive behavior pattern than that of the white pitbull and any other pitbull in general speaking.

In fact, this society tests all kinds of dogs including the popular Border Collie, Dachshund, Pomeranian and even the Beagle have temperaments that are much less desirable than that of the pitbull however the average home doesn't think twice about introducing a new member from these breeds into their homes.

With that said accompanied by the knowledge that the white pitbulls are just a color grouping more than anything, it should be noted that you should seriously consider if a white pitbull or any other pitbull is the right pet for you. It should depend on your ability to provide healthy exercise that is abundant and daily as exercise is extremely important to a pitbulls health and well being.

It is similarly imperative that you have a big enough area within your living quarters as well as outside to provide your white pitbulls with plenty of room. Always be a diligent and responsible pitbull owner so the stigma can be overcome of the pitbull who has unjustly received a horrible reputation.

What is the best way for a beagle to learn tricks?

I have a girl beagle just over a year old, and I want to start teaching her higher level tricks than sit, lay down and shake a paw. I would like to know what are some techniques to teach your dogs new tricks? Also, does anyone know how you would begin to get a dog to track someone?

Take her to a dog obedience class. They work wonders.

You need to train dogs for that.

What type of dog will keep my beagle occupied while I am at work?

Im sure all of you beagle owners have a problem like mine. I have a 2 year old beagle that does nothing but wine and bark when I am not in the apartment. I refuse to get her a shock collar to stop the barking, so I was thinking of getting her another beagle or something or the same size to keep her happy while im at work or with the lady. What should I get or for fellow beagle owners, does having another beagle keep them happy and quiet?

another dog is not going to solve the problem … your dog has separation anxiety and is not just bored … your new dog will just learn to bark and make noise from the current one … have you considered more exercise, tire the dog out before you leave ??? would you consider crate training ??? and a shock collar would be extreme but what about a citronella collar would not … not cruel and stopped my dog barking in the apartment within a week …

Any beagle owners here? How long do you walk your beagles for?

When I walk my beagle for a while, I find that he actually ends up with more energy when coming back from his walk. My beagle come back inside and then runs around my apartment- I let him do it so that he can tire himself out. I also have him play catch and have him run up and down the stairs because he is full of energy lol
My male beagle is 11 months.

My beagle would run ALL day, everyday, if she could.

However, when we come back for a two hour walk, she'll race around the house and then kinda realises she's quite pooped and she'll have a good nap.

Good thing about beagles is, they're pretty good indoor dogs. They could run and run outside all day, but they're quite content with a 20 minute walk, if thats all they can get.

Unlimited outdoor energy, but can harness it and be good indoor dogs, too.

Some Reasons To Get Yourself A Pug Mix Breed

Pug mix is a cross between a Pug and another breed. Nowadays a term designer dog is wildly used to name hybrid dogs that have been selectively bred. Most known Pug mixes can be called designer dogs, for they represent a combination of their parents' particular features and thus often look even more attractive than purebred dogs.

Types of Pug Mixes

All mixed-breed dogs differ from their parents by size, color and shape. Pugs usually transmit flat muzzle and curled tail to the Pug mixes. There are three of them, which are considered to be the most popular and attractive.

Chug is a hybrid of a Chihuahua and a Pug. This Pug mix is very charming. It is small and more refined than a Pug. In general, the appearance has become more interesting. Besides that, Chugs are amazingly friendly, for both parents are known as good companions for their owners.

Pugle, a mix of a Pug and a Beagle, turns to be also very alluring. They are approximately of the same size as Beagles, with short sleek coat and funny curled tail. Again, it is wonderful clever eyes and numerous wrinkles that prettify these Pug mixes and make them look pathetic. As Beagles are hound dogs, Pugles are very brave, curious and devoted to their owners.

The third type is a Bugg a hybrid of a Pug and Boston Terrier. These Pug mixes seem to have a head of a Pug and a body of a Terrier. Their legs are rather long, the body is strong and sound. The muzzle is very charming: it is rather flattened, which makes the dog breathe with its mouth and thus look as if it is smiling at you. Buggs are very lively and good-natured Pug mixes.

Advantages of a Pug mix

As you have noticed, a diversity of appearance may be a real advantage. Pug mixes attract attention, for they are unusual, funny and very handsome. The variety of colors has also increased, as Pugs are usually silver, black or apricot and the new dog breeds make Pug mixes also red, tan, tricolor and even calico.

Another benefit of Pug mixes is that they are considered to have better health than purebred dogs. It is proved that all mix-bred dogs are prone to many genetic diseases typical to this or that particular dog breed. Therefore hybrids are stronger, sturdier and healthier.

The result of such stamina is superiority of Pug mixes in such dog sports as dog agility, frisbee, obedience, flyball and other. They show great dexterity, quickness and cleverness, which help them to excel. So if you want to have a dog, that will be healthy, uncommonly pretty and devoted to you, a Pug mix is a suitable variant.

How do I find out if my beagle is of enough quality to become a showdog?

I have a feeling that my beagle "Rocky" is of high enough quality to become a showdog. In his bloodline there are many grand champions. He is 8 weeks old and once he reaches 3 months we are going to enroll him in obedience classes and training. He can already sit and stay.
We are in Australia not America, sorry! And our beagle follows the breed standards shown on the ANKC website.

OMG stay away from that whole show dog scene if you are any type of normal person! To begin with showing dogs is VERY political. It is rare for people to just walk in to the circle of showing dogs. You are usually entered by association. The judges are very tight with breeders and it would be rare for a newcomer to win when you are up against someone who has been showing dogs for a few years and knows the judge.
Plus you have to have a handler and that is very expensive. It is very expensive to show dogs and a huge financial loss. You have o travel non stop and pay a handler and you have to do so many shows a year to stay in the actual “Showing dog” business. You cant really do it as a hobby.
Also AKC/ANKC means nothing to these people. I mean of course they have to hold those papers, but that means nothing at the end of the day.
So I used to work for a family that owned a Vet clinic and his wife was a handler that showed their German Shepherds. Their grown children worked at the Vet and were the biggest geeks I have ever seen and they were really into showing dogs. They and all their friends would laugh their azzes off and my AKC beagle because she was not of show quality. This family and the entire show dog group (Which is thousands and thousands of bizarre people) didn’t understand that the average person thinks an AKC beagle is just the same looking dog as a champion beagle and vise versa with every breed.
Anyways, I am a dog lover and I don’t have children yet so my beagle is like my child for the time being. I was invited to a big dog show that came into our city and I was excited to see what it was like. They even told me I could bring my beagle and she could hang out with the other pups up there. So I show up with little beagle and she is all wagging her tail and so excited and I could not believe the responses I was getting from complete strangers that call themselves “Dog Lovers”! I was getting stares, points, laughs and ugly faces. I saw the girl that I worked with and went over to her and she was standing with a woman who was some top handler, named Malerie and Malerie said to me (She didn’t ever introduce herself).. “Dear God, is that a beagle that you are holding?” and everyone started laughing hysterically. I could not believe it. How weird and terrible that these people were judging my little, sweet, friendly, cute beagle! So I put my beagle down in the pin to play with my co-workers dogs and about five minutes later some dog groomer comes up to talk to some of the people hanging around and goes “EWWWW, what the hell is that?” pointing to my beagle and being all dramatic. People were laughing so hard. My co-worker was like “Oh that’s my friend’s beagle.” And the groomer said “Oh my gosh, that scared the life out of me. I actually thought someone was going to put that ugly thing in the ring!” People were laughing and I was just in shock that this is how these educated, wealthy people who are driving BMW’s and have ½ a million dollar RVs outside were acting.
Needless to say I wasn’t rude but I told my co-worker I needed to leave early and I was very polite and took my beagle and left and people were pointing. MY GOD, you would have thought I had a dog with no head or eyes because of how people were acting. I was honestly in disbelief because of how these ADULTS were acting, all snooty and rude and my freaking little beagle. Give me a break and get a life.
As I left I couldn’t help but laugh actually because these people were so clueless. They really judge an innocent animal on whether or not the animal is of “High standards.” It’s a freaking dog, a companion! Plus its not like these people did anything great, they just drove somewhere and purchased a dog that was of “Show quality”.
When I got back to work the next day I was talking to one of the girls is a Veterinarian that works there about how weird it was and she said “I KNOW!! It is the weirdest environment I have ever been in. That’s why I refuse to go to any of those ridiculous events. I prefer a good ol’ mixed breed because I AM really an animal lover.” I was just so shocked on how weird the whole thing was.
I enjoy people and want a family and like “Human contact.” The people that show dogs are all about dogs and that’s it and they truly lack people skills.
If you haven’t watched the movie “Best In Show” I truly recommend it, because it is no joke. That is really how people act.
Go figure!
