How Do I Take Care of a Beagle Puppy?

Don't make the same mistakes I made with my Beagle!

Me and my sister are about to get a beagle puppy
from an animal shelter, and I have no idea how to take
care of it. Any advice?

Just like you would take care of any other dog. Feed it atleast twice a day, if not more and leave out fresh water. Take it out about every 4-6 hours, sometimes more depending on your dog. Good luck!

I just had a beagle pup, she is 9 months now. Make sure you take her outside alot (when she gets her/his shots).

really now, dont get a dog if you dont know how to take care of it before. would u have a child without knowing how to feed and care for it?
go speak to your vet and the shelter to get an idea of the amount of responsiblity you need then decide if you want to do this. a beagle puppy is a ~15 year commitment along with a hell of a lot of work! you need to finacially provide for this puppy along with food, training, attention, vet, grooming, socialiazion EVERYTHING
a new puppy costs over 500$ the first year alone.. be ready for many vet trips for shots, spaying/neutering, staying up all night house breaking along with needing to be with teh puppy all the time
